CHICAGO - With Jaden Schwartz out of the lineup with a lower-body injury, expect to see a few different looks to the forward lines when the Blues faceoff with the Chicago Blackhawks tonight at United Center (7:30 p.m., FSMW, KMOX).
"There's some opportunity for some ice time," Blues Head Coach Mike Yeo said. "We're going to try a few different looks tonight. We'll have some consistency, but it won't be shift after shift."

Yeo said Sammy Blais, Robert Thomas and Jordan Kyrou will likely get more shifts tonight, and Blais figures to benefit most by starting the game alongside Brayden Schenn and David Perron.
"I think Sammy has played very well, I've been happy with his game," Yeo said. "He's found a way in every game to get some shifts and some opportunities with different lines. We've seen him with Vladimir (Tarasenko) and (Ryan O'Reilly) a couple times (Thursday), and he's making plays. He looks confident going out there with those guys. That's big… I think it's a good opportunity for him and I think he'll be ready to take advantage of it."
With Schwartz out, Chris Thorburn figures to draw into the lineup tonight for the first time this season.
Defensively, Jordan Schmaltz will play on the third pair with Robert Bortuzzo, who will have a new defense partner for the third straight game.

Yeo comments on lineup adjustments without Schwartz

"We don't really have a plan (for the third defense pairing)," Yeo said after Friday's practice. "…so certainly if somebody wants to grab the opportunity and establish themselves as somebody that can't come out of the lineup, we're OK with that. We don't need to keep the revolving the door… We're going to need a number of guys, you always do throughout the course of the season, but I would say we're still in the feeling out process there."
Below is a projected lineup based on Friday's practice at the Ice Zone at St. Louis Outlet Mall:
