ST. LOUIS - Blues Head Coach Ken Hitchcock said Alexander Steen is day-to-day and feeling better, but he won't play tonight when the Blues host the Nashville Predators at 7 p.m. at Scottrade Center.
Ty Rattie, who recently returned from a conditioning assignment to the Chicago Wolves, and Robert Bortuzzo, who is healthy after sustaining a lower-body injury Oct. 27 vs. Detroit, will play tonight.
"Rattie has paid a price, gone down and played in the American Hockey League and got on the buses. We want to see what he does," Hitchcock said. "Now is the time to look. Eventually, we're going to have to make a determiniation on who is in and who's out on a regular basis. We're still experimenting there.
"Bortz has declared himself fit, so if he's eligible, we've got to look at him," Hitchcock added. "He was playing really well before he got hurt. When he's in our lineup, we like him."
