ST. LOUIS - The Blues will be without Vladimir Tarasenko for the second straight game as he deals with an upper-body injury.
"We'd love to have him in the lineup, we know what he is and what he means for our team," Blues Head Coach Mike Yeo said. "No question it's a significant loss, but we don't have the opportunity or the possibility for our team to sit around and think about what could be right now. We have to look at our group that we have and we believe that we still have a capable group."

Without Tarasenko, Alexander Steen is expected to move up to the top line with Jaden Schwartz and Brayden Schenn. In addition, Vladimir Sobotka will likely move up to the second line alongside Patrik Berglund and Kyle Brodziak.
"That's what we did last game during the game," Yeo said of moving Steen up in Sunday's 5-4 overtime win in Chicago. "We started one way, but after the first period, we shifted some things around and liked the way things looked after that."
Here is the projected lineup for Wednesday's game against the Bruins:

Forward

Jaden Schwartz - Brayden Schenn - Alexander Steen
Patrik Berglund - Kyle Brodziak - Vladimir Sobotka
Dmitrij Jaskin - Ivan Barbashev - Tage Thompson
Nikita Soshnikov - Oskar Sundqvist - Chris Thorburn
