Blues Head Coach Craig Berube was asked whether Ville Husso would get his first career start and whether any other lineup changes were possible, but Berube said those decisions wouldn't be made until closer to puck drop.
With back-to-back games and Jordan Binnington starting all five games thus far, it wouldn't be surprising to see Husso make his first start.
The 25-year-old goaltender's only NHL appearance was in relief in an 8-0 loss to the Colorado Avalanche on Jan. 15.
"For all the guys in Colorado when he came in, we were horrible in front of him. I think we embarrassed him," captain Ryan O'Reilly said. "If he is in tonight, it's something we want to be really good for him, make it really easy on him. He's putting the work in, he's a great goaltender. It's on us, we have to be responsible that way… and contribute to making it easier in net."
Husso was drafted by the Blues in the fourth round (No. 94 overall) in 2014 and has spent the last four seasons with the American Hockey League.
The projected lineup below is based on Saturday's game against the Kings and will be updated at warm-ups if changes are made.
