Projected Lineup: Jan. 14 at San Jose

by Chris Pinkert / St. Louis Blues

SAN JOSE - The St. Louis Blues are looking to avoid losing three consecutive games in regulation for the first time this season tonight when they meet the San Jose Sharks at SAP Center.

Blues Head Coach Ken Hitchcock will make a few lineup changes for tonight's game, primarily bringing Dmitrij Jaskin back into the lineup for more size on the left side while also moving Jaden Schwartz, Robby Fabbri and Nail Yakupov to different forward lines.

"That left wing spot is interchangeable," Hitchcock said. "We liked the way all three lines played in the third period (agianst Los Angeles), and really towards the end of the second (period) is when we made the change. We liked what we saw and we want to see if there's some budding chemistry there... We've just got to read it to see how it looks. If it looks good, we'll stay with it. If not, we won't hesitate on making a change on the left side."

Here is the projected lineup for tonight based on the gameday skate at SAP Center:

Forwards

Jaden Schwartz - Paul Stastny - Alexander Steen
Nail Yakupov - Jori Lehtera - Vladimir Tarasenko
Robby Fabbri - Patrik Berglund - David Perron
Dmitrij Jaskin - Kyle Brodziak - Ryan Reaves

Defense

Alex Pietrangelo - Colton Parayko
Jay Bouwmeester - Kevin Shattenkirk
Joel Edmundson - Robert Bortuzzo
