Injuries to Ville Husso (lower-body) and Jake Walman (upper-body) in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime win against the Florida Panthers has bumped the number of players out of the lineup to nine for the St. Louis Blues.
Husso and Walman join David Perron (upper-body), Robert Thomas (lower-body), James Neal (upper-body) and Klim Kostin (upper-body) on the injured list, while Jordan Binnington, Justin Faulk and Tyler Bozak are still in COVID-19 protocols.
Additionally, General Manager Doug Armstrong said eight players with the team's AHL affiliate Springfield Thunderbirds are dealing with COVID-19, so options for call ups are limited, too.

The team was able to recall forward Nathan Walker on Wednesday. Walker will be in the lineup Thursday when the Blues host the Detroit Red Wings (7 p.m., BSMW, 101 ESPN).
Charlie Lindgren, an undrafted goalie who played in 24 games over five seasons with the Montreal Canadiens, will start in goal. Lindgren made three saves in the third period on Tuesday after Husso was injured to help the Blues secure an overtime win.
Lindgren, who signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Blues in the summer and was slotted as the fourth goalie on the Blues' depth chart, is 8-1-1 with Springfield this season. He has posted a 2.16 goals-against average, .912 save-percentage and was on a five-game winning streak when he was recalled last week.

Lindgren on making debut with Blues

The Blues will have to play with an empty roster spot for the second consecutive game. Blues Head Coach Craig Berube is expected to use 11 forwards and six defensemen against the Red Wings.
"We don't want to be one man down, but it is what it is," Berube said. "We just have to go out and play, be ready to go."
Below is a projected lineup based on Thursday's morning skate at Enterprise Center.
