GAME 4: BLUES VS. JETS

ST. LOUIS - The arena was packed, the crowd was pumped, the rally towels were waving and the wristbands were all lit up before Game 3 on Sunday, but the Blues came out somewhat flat in their first home playoff game of the year.
David Perron and Vladimir Tarasenko scored power-play goals and Alexander Steen scored his first of the playoffs, but the Winnipeg Jets pulled away to secure a 6-3 victory in Game 3 and cut the Blues' lead in the best-of-seven series to 2-1.
After the loss, everyone interviewed in the Blues locker room said the same thing:
"That's not our game tonight," said Blues Head Coach Craig Berube.
"Today was not really our team," added Perron. "We're not happy with our effort, we didn't play a good game. But we've got to give them credit. They played a good game and we didn't respond enough."
"We didn't play our game tonight," Tarasenko said. "It's not an excuse, but we need to find a way to play different (for Game 4). It's on us and we'll handle it."

The Blues held a team meeting Monday to address some of the things that went askew in Game 3, then held an optional practice at Enterprise Center. Afterwards, the team felt like they could get back to their game for Tuesday's Game 4, which begins at 8:30 p.m (FSMW, Y98 FM).
"We've got good character in our room," Berube said Sunday. "We'll take a look at things and change a few things, but we'll be better in Game 4. Our team bounces back. They know that wasn't our game tonight. We'll look at the tape, we'll make a few adjustments and go from there."

BLUE NOTES
