Preseason begins Sunday with double-header

Home game is Sunday at noon; road game at 6 p.m. at CBJ

ST. LOUIS - It's official. Hockey season is upon us.

In fact, the St. Louis Blues will play not one, but two preseason games this Sunday.

This is possible because the Blues will have 67 players in training camp. From that group, one team will be created to play the Columbus Blue Jackets at Scottrade Center on Sunday at noon, while another team will travel to Columbus for a 6 p.m. game at Nationwide Arena.

Forwards: Kenny Agostino, Ivan Barbashev, Samuel Blais, Conner Bleackley, Jordan Caron, Robby Fabbri, David Perron, Chris Porter, Ryan Reaves, Jaden Schwartz, Paul Stastny, Scottie Upshall

Sunday's home game will celebrate Blues Youth Hockey Day in St. Louis. The in-game presentation will recognize the St. Louis youth hockey community and celebrate its future through youth hockey intermission games, graphics and more. In addition, fans are invited to stay after the game to watch youth hockey teams compete in the the first-ever Blue Note Cup championship games.

Tickets for the home game at Scottrade Center are still available online at ticketmaster.com. Fans will also be able to follow play-by-play of the home game with Chris Kerber and Kelly Chase live on KMOX 1120 AM and online at KMOX.com.
