Pietrangelo, Tarasenko on St. Louis sports fans

ST. LOUIS - After playing before a deafening crowd in a 4-2 win in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final at Enterprise Center, Alex Pietrangelo and Vladimir Tarasenko were asked what it meant to be so close to capturing a Stanley Cup in front of a passionate fan base that has now waited 52 years for their chance.

"It's what the city is about. Great sports city, underrated sports city in my opinion," Pietrangelo said. "The fans are great, they never gave up on us all year and they never gave up on us in the playoffs. We've been down and they just keep on cheering and keep on supporting us. We're putting on the best effort we can for them."
"Every year, you keep hearing 'let's go to the Finals, let's go win the Cup,'" Tarasenko added. "Even after last year, you heard it all summer. People started believing us and we feel it. It gives us a really big emotional boost."
