ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues President John Davidson announced during the game that rookie forward David Perron is scheduled to be in the Blues’ lineup when they play at Nashville on Saturday night. Tomorrow night’s game will be Perron’s 10th game with the Blues this season.
“David has shown that he can play in the National Hockey League and has earned a spot on our club,” said Davidson. “He’s a young player with tremendous skill and we are expecting him to play a key role with our team in the future.”
With Erik Johnson and Perron in the Blues lineup, it marks the second time in Blues history that the club has had two 19-year-old players on the team. The last time the Blues had two 19-year-olds in the lineup together was during the 1981-82 season with Rik Wilson and Jim Pavese.
