ST. LOUIS (AP) — St. Louis Blues forward David Perron
has been placed on injured reserve. The move is retroactive to Nov. 4 after he was injured in a game against the San Jose Sharks.
Perron said his headaches haven't been as severe, and both he and General Manager Doug Armstrong are hopeful the forward can return to the lineup soon.
Perron could come off the injured reserve any time if his symptoms clear and he passes baseline testing.
Perron finished the Nov. 4 game and scored a goal in a 2-0 victory, and reported concussion symptoms the next day. Perron was looking down to take a pass in the neutral zone and didn't see Thornton coming out of the penalty box when he was hit. He didn't believe Thornton was trying to injure him.
The Blues have recalled Dave Scatchard and Stefan Della Rovere
