Perron Climbs in Calder Chase

by Staff Writer / St. Louis Blues
On the heels of a three point week for the St. Louis Blues, David Perron was Future Considerations' largest climber in the latest installment of the Calder Chase.

Ranked 10th on the Chase last week, Perron has jumped three positions, including a leapfrog of teammate Erik Johnson, who remains in the eighth position for the second straight week. Perron, who has made himself a regular in head coach Andy Murray's lineup after playing sporadically earlier in the season, has 18 points in 31 games. The former first round selection has nine goals, third among rookies.

Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane continues to lead the Chase despite slumping without fellow rookie Jonathan Toews. The duo continues to hold the one-two position, a ranking the two haven't relinquished since late October.
