The contributions helped begin a hand sanitizer drive for the area, which O'Reilly hopes will encourage others who can to donate for the people of his hometown.
"This is a great initiative for the hospital as well as local retirement and long-term care facilities," O'Reilly said. "We all have to do our part and this is a simple way to get behind the frontline workers and residents in all these facilities."
Individuals and businesses who contribute hand sanitizer to O'Reilly's drive will be entered to win an autographed jersey. More information is available on the
