NHL 100: Brett Hull

In celebration of its centennial season, the NHL released its list of the 100 Greatest Players to play the game. In the coming weeks, we'll be profiling each of the 14 former Blues to be named to that list.
When looking through the St. Louis Blues record books, there's one name you'll notice over and over, and that's Brett Hull.
The son of former NHL winger Bobby Hull, "The Golden Brett" tallied 1,391 points in the regular season over his 21-season NHL career. The sniper spent 10 seasons in the Blue Note, including a career-best 86-goal season in 1990-91, which is the third highest mark in NHL history.

Following retirement from the League, the former captain returned to St. Louis, where he is now the Executive Vice President of the Blues and a huge pillar in the St. Louis community.
While his legacy is well known to Blues fans who see his number in the rafters of the Scottrade Center, the NHL declared his success to the world as he was recently named to the list of the 100 Greatest NHL Players as the League celebrates its centennial season.
