ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced Monday the club has placed forward Brenden Morrow on injured reserve with an upper-body injury.
Morrow was evaluated and diagnosed by Dr. Rick Wright at Washington University Orthopedics and Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
Morrow, 34, has dressed in nine games for the Blues this season, posting three points (two goals, one assist) while serving 12 penalty minutes.
Over his 14-year National Hockey League (NHL) career, the 6-foot, 210-pound forward has appeared in 859 games, accumulating 545 points (251 goals, 294 assists) to go along with 1,234 penalty minutes.
Morrow was originally signed by the Blues as a free agent on Sept. 23, 2013.
