ST. LOUIS - The 2017-18 season is upon us and fans will begin filling Scottrade Center this week to watch the Blues. While the team on the ice takes center stage, there are a number of other people off the ice who make the gameday experience a memorable one: the in-game entertainment team.
That team is adding a new face this year in Pascal Beauboeuf. He will serve as in-game co-host with Angella Sharpe, interacting with fans and helping keep the fun going during stoppages in play and intermissions.
"[I] couldn't be more excited about being a part of the family!" he said.
Away from the rink, Beauboeuf is the executive producer and host of his own television show called "The Pascal Show." The actor, writer, director and producer has created numerous viral music videos, skits and runs a crime/thriller web series.
"We're excited to welcome Pascal to the Blues," said Jason Pippi, director of game operations. "He will be a key member of the team as we continue to enhance the fan experience and create one of the most entertaining in-game presentations in the NHL."
Blues fans will have their first chance to meet Beauboeuf at Wednesday's preseason home game vs. Columbus, when he'll be debuting as co-host. Fans can follow him on Twitter and Instagram at @beautifulbeef.
Beauboeuf's teammates on the in-game entertainment roster include:
ANGELLA SHARPE - In-Game Co-Host
Angella Sharpe enters her 10th season as in-game host. Growing up around the rinks of Kirkwood, she always knew she would one day work for the Blues. When she's not at Scottrade Center, Sharpe can be seen on STL TV's The Daily Mix and reporting from Gateway Motor Sports Park, Prep Zone Game of the Week and more.
TONY PATRICO - Hype Man
A Blues fan for more than 30 years, Tony Patrico enters his second season as the team's Hype Man. When he's not pumping up the crowd at Scottrade Center, he can be heard on 105.7 The Point as the co-host of The Rizzuto Show. Patrico also runs his own DJ business - Patrico Entertainment.
TOM CALHOUN - PA Announcer
Even if you don't realize it, you know Tom Calhoun. The in-arena voice of the Blues since January 1987, he will work his 1,374th consecutive Blues game when the club takes the ice Wednesday. Calhoun is also the PA voice of the Gateway Grizzlies and has been heard calling play-by-play on hundreds of pro, college and high school sports broadcasts.
JEREMY BOYER - Organist
A Missouri native and huge Blues fan, Jeremy Boyer has been playing the organ for sports teams since 2000. Entering his 11th season with the Blues, he has also played for Southeast Missouri State, the Memphis Redbirds, Kansas City Royals and St. Louis Cardinals. Away from the rink, Boyer is the Director of Music and organist at St. Francis of Assisi parish.
CHARLES GLENN - Anthem Singer
Charles Glenn has been a staple at Blues games for more than a decade as the team's primary anthem singer. A local Emmy winner, Glenn has also performed the national anthem for the St. Louis Cardinals, nationally-televised boxing matches and numerous other high-profile events.
