Former Blues defenseman Al MacInnis will participate in the Outdoor Alumni Game at the 2011 NHL Heritage Classic this weekend at McMahon Stadium in Calgary.
MacInnis will join former Calgary Flames such as Gary Roberts, Joe Nieuwendyk, Lanny McDonald, Theo Fleury and Craig Conroy in a game against former Montreal Canadiens, including Sergio Momesso, Mike Keane and Russ Courtnall.
The puck drops on the Alumni Game at 5:30 p.m. CT on Saturday.
Blues fans will be able to watch the game live on stlouisblues.com and NHL.com. The stream begins at 3:30 p.m. CT with pregame coverage and continues until the completion of the Alumni Game.
MacInnis, a 2007 Hockey Hall of Fame inductee, spent 10 seasons with the Blues, amassing 452 points (127 goals, 325 assists).
Career highlights include a Stanley Cup and the Conn Smythe Trophy as the Most Valuable Player in the playoffs with Calgary in 1989. In 1999, he won the Norris Trophy as the League's best defenseman.
The Heritage Classic will pit the Calgary Flames and Montreal Canadiens head-to-head on Sunday, Feb. 20 at 5 p.m. CT. The annual Canadian outdoor game will be available in high definition on VERSUS in the United States.
