Mike Hoffman will make his debut with the St. Louis Blues on Friday night against the Colorado Avalanche (8 p.m. CT, FSMW, 101 ESPN).

Hoffman was unable to play on Opening Night because his work visa had not yet been approved.
On Friday morning, Blues General Manager Doug Armstrong said that issue was squared away.
"It was a bit of a surprise last game for everybody, including him," Head Coach Craig Berube said. "Disappointing, he obviously wanted to play his first game as a Blue. He'll get his first opportunity tonight."
Hoffman, 30, led the Florida Panthers in goals (29) during the 2019-20 season and added 30 assists (59 points). He has scored 20 or more goals in six consecutive seasons and recorded 50 or more points in five straight seasons.
Hoffman has played 493 NHL games, scoring 172 goals and adding 187 assists for 359 points. He was originally drafted by Ottawa in the fifth round of the 2009 NHL Draft.
