DENVER - The St. Louis Blues will get one injured defenseman back Sunday night when they meet the Colorado Avalanche at Pepsi Center.
Carl Gunnarsson will return to the lineup after missing three games with a lower-body injury. He last played on March 25 against Vancouver, where he scored a goal to help the Blues clinch a playoff berth for the fifth consecutive season.
"When he's been healthy, he's been good," Blues Head Coach Ken Hitchcock said. "He's been getting banged up a little bit this year, more than normal. If you don't notice him, he's doing well, because he's a quiet player and he's a smart positional player."
Gunnarsson has played in 68 games this season, recording three goals, six assists and a +9 rating.
Jay Bouwmeester (upper-body), Robby Fabbri (lower-body) and Steve Ott (hamstring) have all been skating and are expected to return to the lineup soon.
