Game Notes - Blues 4, Predators 3 (OT)

  • The Blues moved to 3-0-0 vs. the Predators this season and extended their win streak in the series overall to four games.  It was also their fourth straight win vs. the Predators at Scottrade Center, marking their longest stretch since they took eight consecutive matchups from Apr. 7, 2001 to Dec. 6, 2003
  • St. Louis (50) joins Washington (56) and Dallas (57) as the only teams to have reached the 50-point plateau this season
  • Alexander Steen tallied the game-winner in overtime on assists from Paul Stastny and Alex Pietrangelo.  Overall, Steen has buried 44 career game-winners (reg. + postseason), including five in overtimes
  • Dmitrij Jaskin posted a goal and an assist for his second career multi-point game.  Jaskin also registered a +3 rating which is a new single-game career high
  • Robby Fabbri netted his ninth goal, moving into a tie for 7th among rookies in scoring.  Five of Fabbri’s goals have come in the month of December, which shares the rookie lead with Mattias Janmark
  • Kevin Shattenkirk added his 6th goal; giving him eight points (2g, 6a) over his last eight home games.  Shattenkirk now has 12 points this December (4g, 8a) which shares 4th amongst all defensemen
  • Jori Lehtera logged two assists for his second multi-assist game of the season and the eighth of his career overall
  • Colton Parayko notched his 10th assist of the season, tying Colin Miller for the League lead amongst rookie defensemen in that category.  Parayko’s 16 points overall are tops amongst rookie blueliners and 7th amongst rookies overall
  • Alex Pietrangelo recorded his second multi-assist game of the season, including the secondary assist on Steen’s game-winner in overtime-Jay Bouwmeester’s assist was his 10th of the season and his third in his last four games
