Paul Stastny scored his third goal which also proved to be his second game-winner this season. Stastny leads the Blues and shares 7th overall with nine regular season game-winning goals since joining the team last season
Jake Allen stopped 33 shots, marking his second-highest save total of the season. Allen improved to 6-2-1 (.722) in nine road decisions this season - the 8th best road win percentage amongst goalies with at least five road starts.
Troy Brouwer scored the Blues' first goal - his sixth of the season. Each of Brouwer's last three goals have come on the road and he now has 125 road points for his career
Kevin Shattenkirk notched two assists extending his assist/point streak to five games (1g, 6a). Shattenkirk has recorded a point in 15 of his 19 games since returning from injury on Nov. 7 (4g, 14a) and ranks 4th amongst all defensemen in scoring since then
David Backes extended his season-long point streak to five games (3g, 3a) with an assist on Brouwer's goal. Backes has averaged 0.88 points per game average in December after sharing posting a 0.50 mark from the beginning of the season to Nov. 30.
