Game Notes - Blues 3, Blackhawks 2 (SO)

-The Blues stretched their win streak to four games and pulled to within one point of Chicago and Dallas for first in the Central Division
-Troy Brouwer buried his 13th goal of the year and scored in the shootout.  He now has a goal in back-to-back home games
-David Backes notched his 17th goal, extending his point streak to four games (2g, 2a).  Backes’ 12 home goals this season ranks second on the team behind Vladimir Tarasenko’s 17
-Jake Allen won his fourth consecutive start and his 22nd game overall this season, tying a single-season career high.  Over his last 10 home appearances, Allen has allowed more than two goals just once, posting a 1.71 GAA and a .933 SV% (1 shutout) in that span (6-4-0 record)
-Kevin Shattenkirk collected his 25th assist, extending his assist streak to three games (4a).  The helper was also his 17th on the power play which shares 8th most League-wide
-Shattenkirk also scored the game-deciding shootout goal.  He now ranks solo 2nd in club history with eight career shootout enders
-Paul Stastny logged his 25th assist.  He has now reached that plateau in each of his nine full NHL seasons (excludes 2012-13 lockout year)

-Robby Fabbri posted his 14th assist, giving him 30 points for the year.  Fabbri has two goals and two assist, along with a +3 rating over his last four games
Blues Milestones
-David Backes’ goal was the 452nd point of his career which ties Al MacInnis for 6th on the all-time franchise list
