  • The Blues extended their home points streak to four games (3-0-1)-The Blues converted on one of their three power plays and have now scored five times on their last 19 attempts (26.3%) over their last five homes games, after going 0 for 21 in their first six home games of the year
  • The Blues won 69.8% of the faceoffs, marking their best effort of the season.  Paul Stastny led all players, winning 13 of 16 draws (81%) he took
  • Jake Allen improved to 6-2-1 at home this season, stopping 23 Columbus shots.  Allen has allowed two or fewer goals in seven of his nine home starts and ranks 5th overall with a 1.85 home goals against average
  • Vladimir Tarasenko scored his team-leading fourth power play goal and his 14th goal overall, which ranks second League wide (1. Jamie Benn, 18).  He also notched an assist for his team-leading 9th multi-point game of the season – five of which have come over his last eight games
  • Scottie Upshall’s fourth goal of the year also proved to be his first game-winner of the season.  The tally was his first home goal as a Blue
  • Alexander Steen posted an assist and added an empty-net goal for his second consecutive multi-point game.  Steen has now had 78 multi-point efforts as a Blue and the club has gone 60-12-6 in that set
  • Kevin Shattenkirk’s assist extended his point streak to eight games (2g, 8a), which ties Erik Karlsson for the longest streak by a defenseman this season.  Shattenkirk is now one shy of his longest career stretch, which came in a nine-game segment from Nov. 17 – Dec. 4, 2010, during his rookie year
Blues Milestones
  • Alexander Steen appeared in his 450th game as a Blue.  He currently ranks 20th on the franchise’s all-time games played list
  • David Backes’ assist brought him to 427 career points, which ties Keith Tkachuk for 7th on the all-time franchise list
