-The Blues earned their first win in a Conference Final since May 16, 2001 vs. Colorado.

-Brian Elliott made 26 saves on 27 shots and now is first in the NHL among goalies with 9 wins this postseason.

-David Backes scored his 7th goal and acquired his 13th point of the postseason. Matching his career postseason point total of 13 from 2006-07 to 2014-15.

-David Backes racked up 11 hits against the Sharks which is the most all time by a Blue in a postseason game and 9th most all-time in an NHL postseason game since hits started being tracked in 05-06.

-Jori Lehtera scored his 2nd goal of the postseason and his first career game-winning postseason goal.

-The Blues killed all three of San Jose Sharks power-play opportunities tonight. That was the first time the Sharks haven’t scored a power-play goal in a game since Game 2 against Nashville.

-Jaden Schwartz (9th) and Kevin Shattenkirk (9th) assisted on the David Backes goal. Schwartz has an assist in 5 of the last 6 games and Shattenkirk sits in second place among defenseman behind this postseason.
