  • Trailing 1-0 entering the third period, the Blues scored a pair goals to earn their first win when trailing after two periods this season. Now with 30 points overall, the Blues are just four shy of Dallas for first place in the Western Conference
  • Troy Brouwer tied the game, 1-1, with just over five minutes in to the third period. It was his fifth goal of the year and his 13th point overall, which ranks third on the club-Robby Fabbri gave the Blues a 2-1 lead at the 13:26 mark of the final frame. It was his third goal of the season and his second game-winner (first game-winner was opening night, Oct. 8 vs. Edmonton)
  • Jake Allen improved to 5-2-0 on the road, stopping 24 of 25 Buffalo shots. Allen has won four of his last five road appearances, while recording a .961 save percentage (stopped 122 of 127 shots) in that span
  • Kevin Shattenkirk posted an assist, extending his point streak to six games (2g, 6a). Shattenkirk and Erik Karlsson currently share the longest active point streak for a defenseman
  • David Backes logged an assist, giving him five points (2g, 3a) over his last five games. Now with 426 career points, Backes is just one shy of tying Keith Tkachuk for 7th on the Blues' all-time franchise list
  • Paul Stastny returned to the lineup after a 16-game absence. He played 19:37, posted one shot and won eight of 17 faceoffs
