Game Notes- October 29, 2015

  • The Blues extended their win streak over the Lightning to four games overall and four games at The Blues won for the second time in their last three meetings with the Ducks and now have points in all four home games this season (3-0-1)
  • Colton Parayko scored the game-winning goal and now leads all defensemen outright with four goals overall.  In just 10 games, Parayko has become only the third defenseman in Blues history to post two game-winning goals in his rookie season (Brian Benning 1986-87, Erik Johnson 2007-08)
  • Parayko also recorded 10 shots on goal, setting a new Blues single-game rookie record.  The last NHL rookie overall to post 10 shots in a game was Alex Ovechkin on Apr. 7, 2006
  • Vladimir Tarasenko notched his team-leading sixth goal of the season.  With 10 points in the first 10 games of the season, Tarasenko is one of 37 players averaging a point per game thus far
  • Steve Ott tallied an assist – his second in the last three games – and doled out a season-high four hits-Scott Gomez and Ty Rattie both notched assists.  For Gomez, it was his second consecutive game with a point (1g, 1a).  For Rattie, it was his third career NHL assist, and first this season-Jori Lehtera grabbed his team-leading sixth assist of the year
  • Jake Allen collected his second consecutive win.  He has allowed just one goal on 49 shots over his last two starts (3-2-0, 2.01 GAA, .928 SV% for the year)
