Game Notes - Blues 1, Wild 3

  • The Blues are now 2-1-0 vs. the Wild this season, while tonight marked their first loss of the season when tied after two periods (8-1-0)
  • The Blues finished the calendar year with a 52-25-8 record and 112 points – tied for the third highest point total overall in 2015
  • Kevin Shattenkirk scored a power play goal - his 7th goal overall and second in as many games.  Shattenkirk has 14 power play points (3g, 11a) this season, which shares 6th amongst all defensemen (1. Brent Burns, 16)
  • Jake Allen allowed just two goals on 28 shots.  It was the 18th time in 30 appearances that Allen has kept the opposition to two or fewer goals
  • Alexander Steen assisted on Shattenkirk’s goal, giving him 22 helpers for the year and 12 on the power play.  Steen shares 2nd overall in power play assists for the season – just two behind League-leading Erik Karlsson (14)
  • Paul Stastny also assisted on Shattenkirk’s goal, giving him helpers in back-to-back games for the third time this season
