Game Notes - Blues 1, Stars 2

-The St. Louis Blues have faced the Dallas Stars more in the playoffs than any other team. This is the 13th time that the St. Louis Blues and Minnesota North Stars/Dallas Stars have met in the playoffs and the record between them in the 12 other meetings is 6-6. The last time they met was in 2001 and the Blues swept the Stars 4-0 in that series. At that time the Dallas Stars had Ken Hitchcock at the helm.

-Brian Elliot made 40 of 42 saves tonight. That was the second most saves he has made in a playoff game in his career. The only time he had more saves in a playoff game was on April 17th in Game 3 against the Chicago Blackhawks this year.

-Kevin Shattenkirk scored the lone goal for the Blues tonight. His second of the 2015-16 playoffs and 4th of his career.

-Colton Parayko and Patrik Berglund assisted the Kevin Shattenkirk goal. It was the 2nd assist of the 2015-16 playoffs for both players.

Game Two
The Blues will visit the Stars on Sunday at 2 p.m. at American Airlines Center
