Game Notes - Blues 1, Predators 0
  • The Blues earned their fifth consecutive win against the Predators and their second consecutive shutout win at Bridgestone Arena (Jake Allen earned the first on Nov. 7).  The last time the Blues conceded a goal in Music City was at the 9:02 mark of the third period (Shea Weber) on Dec. 30, 2014 (130:58 consecutive shutout minutes since)
  • Brian Elliott made 16 saves for his first shutout of the year and his franchise-leading 22nd as a Blue overall.  His 16 stops were the fourth fewest he's made in a shutout effort in his career (fewest - 13 on Feb. 18, 2012 vs. MIN).
  • Elliott has earned points in five of his last six starts (4-1-1) despite receiving more than two goals in support just once in that span (9 total goals in support).  Since Jake Allen's injury, Elliott is 6-2-2 with a 1.77 goals against average, a .944 save percentage and one shutout
  • Troy Brouwer tipped-in Alex Pietrangelo's one-timer with just over a minute remaining to give the Blues the victory.  It was Brouwer's 10th goal this season and the 30th game-winner of his career.  In addition, it was the 10th time he's scored over his last 12 games against the Predators
  • Pietrangelo's assist was his 19th of the season and his third in his last four outings.  The Blues improved to 9-0-3 when Pietrangelo records a point on the road this season
  • Robby Fabbri earned the secondary assist on the game-winner, giving him 19 points for the year (11g, 8a).  Since Dec. 21, Fabbri shares 5th amongst all rookies with 10 points (6g, 4a - 19 gms)
