With his team trailing 2-0 in the second period in a big matchup against the division rival Colorado Avalanche in his first game back - one week ahead of schedule - Edmundson fired a shot from the point through traffic that beat Semyon Varlamov and cut Colorado's lead to 2-1 on Thursday night.
"Really impressive coming back," Yeo said of Edmundson after the game. "It didn't look like he missed any time to me."
The goal - Edmundson's seventh of the season - extended his career-high.
