Blues prospect Mark Cundari and the Windsor Spitfires claimed the 2010 Mastercard Memorial Cup with a 9-1 win over the Brandon Wheat Kings on Sunday.

It was the second consecutive year that Cundari and the Spitfires earned the Central Hockey League's championship trophy.

Cundari, a defenseman who was acquired by the Blues as a free agent in 2009, had eight goals and 46 assists for the Spitfires in 63 regular season games this season. Including Sunday's championship game, Cundari had three goals and 16 assists (19 points) in 20 playoff games.

Each year, the Memorial Cup tournament pits champions from all three CHL member leagues (QMJHL, WHL and OHL) and the tournament's host team. Current Blues prospects who played in the CHL this year include Jake Allen, Alex Pietrangelo, Ian Schultz and Tyler Shattock.

On Saturday, Allen was named the CHL's Goalie of the Year.
