ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced Saturday that defenseman Mark Cundari
will join the team in Traverse City for the 2011 NHL Prospects Tournament, September 10-14, in Traverse City, Michigan.
Cundari will replace Joel Edmundson
who injured his right ankle in today’s practice.
The Blues will open the tournament tonight against the New York Rangers which can be seen on the NHL Network at 6 p.m. CDT.
Cundari, 21, played 69 games for Peoria (AHL) last season and totaled 30 points (10g, 20a) and 106 penalty minutes. He was signed as a free agent by St. Louis in September of 2008.
