WINNIPEG - The Blues will start Pheonix Copley in goal for Saturday's 2 p.m. contest against the Winnipeg Jets at MTS Centre (FSMW, KMOX).

Copley was recalled from the Chicago Wolves on Friday morning after the Blues struggled defensively in Thursday's loss to the Washington Capitals. Jake Allen was given a chance to get away from the rink and stay home with his newborn baby, which made room for Copley's recall.
"Goaltending is a lonely position, and everyone goes through it," Copley said after the team's practice on Tuesday. "You never like seeing guys struggle, but it happens to everybody. You just hope for the best and see what happens.
"Obviously I'd love to be in a game, but I just want to work hard, learn what I can and take it from there."
Copley, who was acquired by the Blues in the deal that also brought Troy Brouwer to St. Louis, is 11-4-2 with the Chciago Wolves this season and ranks ninth in the AHL in goals-against average (2.32) and save-percentage (.920). He has just one relief appearance in the NHL but will make his first NHL start.
Hitchcock also said Jay Bouwmeester is dealing with an injury and would take warm-ups before deciding if he could play.
