Champions Blue Note 5K set for Oct. 6 at Forest Park

ST. LOUIS - Join the St. Louis Blues, Blue Crew, the Blues Street Team and Louie for the Champions Blue Note 5K presented by American Eagle Credit Union on Sunday, Oct. 6, at 9 a.m., at Forest Park.

Registration costs $40 through Sept. 13, $45 from Sept. 14 to Oct. 2 and $50 from Oct. 3 to race day. A portion of the proceeds benefits Blues for Kids.

All registrants will receive a T-shirt and a Champions-branded race medal.

Race-day registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. at the Upper Muny parking lot (1 Theatre Drive).

Blues fans ages 12 and under can join Louie for the 1/2 mile 'Loop Kids Run,' starting at 10:15 a.m. Registration for the Loop Kids Run is just $15 and includes a T-shirt and a race medal.

Prizes for the top three overall male and female finishers are tickets to a future regular-season home game. Awards for the top three male and female finishers in each age group will include autographed memorabilia.

Can't make race day? You can still participate! Sign up as a virtual runner and receive all the same swag as race day runners, then complete the distance on your own - no matter where you are. Virtual runner registration costs $40 until Sept. 14 and $45 from Sept. 15-29. Virtual runners can choose to pick up their race packets at one of the local packet pick-up times or choose to have yours shipped for $8 (packets will be shipped Oct. 1.)
