Cards Hit Home Run with New Theme Night

by Chris Pinkert / St. Louis Blues

ST. LOUIS - Hitting home runs is nothing new for the St. Louis Cardinals, but they’re certainly hitting one way out of the park with a St. Louis Blues theme night later this month.

Fans attending the Cardinals / Reds game at Busch Stadium on Sept. 21 will be able to watch the Cardinals take batting practice in Blues-themed jerseys before the game. The jerseys will be auctioned to benefit Cardinals Care after the game.

“We are thrilled to be a part of this special night at Busch Stadium,” said Chris Zimmerman, the Blues’ President and CEO of Business Operations. “The relationship between the Blues and Cardinals is one of the reasons why St. Louis is such a great sports city, and we always cherish the opportunity to strengthen our bond.”

In addition, a pregame rally will feature autographs from Blues and Cardinals Alumni, appearances by Louie and Blue Crew and more.

Fans that purchased tickets for this event also receive a limited edition Blues / Cardinals themed hat.
