ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has signed forward Kyle Brodziak to a one-year contract.
Brodziak, 31, dressed in 73 regular season games with the Minnesota Wild last season, posting 20 points (nine goals, 11 assists) and 47 penalty minutes. The 6-foot-2, 209-pound forward also served two penalty minutes in 10 postseason contests.
Overall, Brodziak is a veteran of 10 National Hockey League (NHL) seasons, including stints with Edmonton (2005-09) and Minnesota (2009-15). He has accumulated 228 points (98 goals, 130 assists) and 332 penalty minutes in 621 career regular season games, as well as eight points (three goals, five assists) and eight penalty minutes in 27 career postseason appearances.
The St. Paul, Alberta, native was originally drafted by Edmonton in the seventh round (214th overall) of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
