ST. LOUIS - Each year, specially-themed pucks are autographed by players and alumni and sold at select home games at Scottrade Center to benefit the Blues for Kids Foundation.
Pucks are concealed and chosen at random, which is probably a big reason why they're so popular - you don't know which player autographed your puck until you unwrap it to find out!
Mystery pucks are back for the upcoming 2017-18 season and include fan-favorite themes like Opening Night, Halloween and Hockey Fights Cancer - but this year, the Blues for Kids is giving fans a chance to design their own mystery puck, which will be sold during the Jan. 20 game vs. Arizona.
Fans must create their puck and submit their design before Sept. 15 at 5 p.m. From there, the Blues will narrow the submissions to five finalists and allow fans to vote for their favorite beginning Sept. 19.
The winning design will be revealed at the Sept. 23 preseason game against the Dallas Stars.
The contest winner will receive four Plaza Level tickets to the Jan. 20 game vs. Arizona, and five of their pucks will be autographed by Blues players(s) of their choice. The winner will also receive 20 non-autographed pucks that feature their design.
