Blues to host Pee Wee Showcase this weekend

Fans can watch championship games following Blues vs. Capitals on Sunday

ST. LOUIS - The St. Louis Blues will host eight youth hockey teams this weekend in the 2017 Pee Wee Showcase at Scottrade Center. Two divisions of teams will compete in a round-robin format with three games each, and the top two teams in each division will compete for the AA and A1 championships.

Championship games will be played immediately after the 2 p.m. preseason game between the Blues and the Washington Capitals on Sunday, Oct. 1. Blues fans with tickets to the preseason game are invited to stay to watch the Pee Wee championship games.

AA teams participating in the tournament include Southern Illinois, the St. Louis Rockets, St. Peters and Kirkwood. A1 teams participating are Meramec, Twin Bridges, St. Peters and the St. Louis Rockets.
