ST. LOUIS - The St. Louis Blues will face the Dallas Stars in the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
On Monday, the Stars defeated the Nashville Predators 2-1 in overtime, eliminating Nashville in six games.
The Blues eliminated the Winnipeg Jets in the first round with a 3-2 victory in Game 6 on Saturday.
"It's one series and it was good to win it in front of our home crowd here after losing the last two (home games)," goalie Jordan Binnington said after the Blues' Game 6 win. "We're excited and we'll take a little rest here and prepare for the next series."
