ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has signed defenseman Nate Prosser to a one-year, two-way contract.
Prosser, 28, dressed in 53 regular season games with the Minnesota Wild last season, posting eight points (two goals, six assists) and 58 penalty minutes. In addition, the 6-foot-2, 196-pound defenseman appeared in 10 postseason games, serving 12 penalty minutes.
For his NHL career, the Elk River, Minnesota native has spent parts of the past five seasons in Minnesota, totaling 21 points (three goals, 18 assists) and 127 penalty minutes in 126 regular season games.
During his AHL career, the Colorado College alum has recorded 31 points (eight goals, 23 assists) and 41 penalty minutes in 96 regular season games, along with five points (three goals, two assists) in 26 postseason appearances with the Houston Aeros.
