ST. LOUIS - Third time's the charm.
David Perron will return to the Blues for his third stint after signing a four-year contract worth $16 million on the first day of free agency.

Perron, who was selected by the Vegas Golden Knights in the NHL Expansion Draft last summer, is coming off a career year in Vegas. Perron recorded 16 goals and set new career highs in assists (50) and points (66) in 70 regular season games before contributing one goal and eight assists in nine playoff games to help the Golden Knights to an appearance in the Stanley Cup Final in their inaugural season.
Perron has played in six seasons for the Blues and was drafted by the club in the first round (26th overall) in 2007. In 2016-17 - his last season with the Blues - Perron played in all 82 games, recording 18 goals and 28 assists.
In 722 career regular season games, perron has 175 goals and 269 assists (444 points).
