ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced Tuesday the club has re-signed defenseman Taylor Chorney
to a one-year, two-way contract.
Chorney, 26, dressed in 73 games for the Peoria Rivermen this past season, ranking second among defensemen with 24 points (four goals and 20 assists) to go along with 37 penalty minutes.
Overall, the 6-foot, 196-pound defenseman has appeared in 61 career National Hockey League (NHL) games, including stints with Edmonton (2008-2011) and St. Louis. He has one goal and six assists to go along with 16 penalty minutes.
The Thunder Bay, Ontario native was originally signed by the Blues as a free agent on July 1, 2012.
