Blues Set New Year's Resolutions for 2015

by Chris Pinkert / St. Louis Blues

With 2014 in the rearview mirror, it’s time to start sticking to those New Year’s resolutions that we’ve all set for ourselves.

As we turn the calendar over to 2015, we thought it would be fun to ask the players what resolutions they have for this year.

Some of their answers might surprise you...

“My resolution is to work out more.”
Alexander Steen

“I’d like to see my family more, that’s all. I’m living the dream now, but the biggest issue is you see your family once or twice a year, so that’s not good. I might just try to work on flying my family over a little more than I have the last two years.”
Dmitrij Jaskin

“It probably would have something to do with being the best dad I can. I know that’s a wide range of different things, but it’s a big time in my little girl’s life, so the more I can be there for her, the better. That’s one I’ll be sticking to.”
                                      - T.J. Oshie

“I don’t have a New Year’s resolution. I live my life the way I want to all the time, so no need to make any changes.” -
Barret Jackman

“I’m going to become a scratch golfer. Wait… that’s not gonna happen!”
Martin Brodeur

“I’ve never had any New Year’s resolutions before. Um… maybe score more goals?”
Carl Gunnarsson
