Blues Road Trip to Peoria For Two Days

by Staff Writer / St. Louis Blues
The St. Louis Blues invade Carver Arena on Thursday, October 2 and Friday, October 3.

"We are looking forward to bringing our training camp to the great hockey city of Peoria on October 2nd and 3rd,” said John Davidson, President, Hockey Operations, St. Louis Blues. “The fans in Peoria will enjoy being able to see the Blues and their Rivermen skate together as both teams get ready for the regular season.”

All practices will be free and open to the public, starting with a 5:30 p.m. practice Thursday at Carver Arena. The Blues will give Rivermen fans a chance to see former Peoria stars in action with a Blues crest on their jersey, plus St. Louis’ stars of today and tomorrow.

Friday at 11:45 a.m. the Blues will once again take to the Carver Arena ice in an open practice in preparation for the night’s main event, the Blue/White Showcase.

The Blue/White Showcase will feature an autograph session with Blues players from 5:15 – 6:15 p.m. at the Peoria Civic Center, which will be open to the public. Following the session, the Showcase itself will begin at 7 p.m. and includes practice demonstrations, a skills competition, and a Blue/White scrimmage.

The Blue/White Showcase is free to all Rivermen full and partial season ticket holders, with all others costing $10 for lower bowl seats and $5 for upper bowl seats.

For more information on the Blue/White Showcase or any other events of the week, please contact the Rivermen office at (309) 676-1040.
