Blues recall Sanford from Rampage

ST. LOUIS - St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the Blues have recalled forward Zach Sanford from the club's American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage.

In addition, the Blues assigned forward Chris Thorburn to the Rampage.
Sanford, 23, has appeared in four games with the Rampage this season, tallying two goals. Overall, the 6-foot-4, 207-pound native of Salem, Massachusetts, has recorded eight points (four goals, four assists) in 39 career NHL regular-season games.
Thorburn, 35, has dressed in one game with the Blues this season. Overall, the 6-foot-3, 231-pound native of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, has collected 134 points (53 goals, 81 assists) and 968 penalty minutes in 801 career NHL regular-season games.
