ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues President John Davidson announced today the club has recalled goaltender Hannu Toivonen from the Blues’ American Hockey League affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen. In addition, the team has assigned goaltender Chris Beckford-Tseu to Peoria.
Toivonen, 23, has played in 16 games with the Blues this season. He has also played in seven games with Peoria this season, registering a 4-3-0 record.
Beckford-Tseu, 23, made his NHL debut with the Blues on Feb. 21 at Los Angeles. He has played in 28 games with the Rivermen this season, posting a 15-9-2 record along with a .900 save percentage and a 2.61 goals against average.
