Blues recall Barbashev from Wolves

ST. LOUIS - St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the Blues have recalled forward Ivan Barbashev from their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Chicago Wolves.

Barbashev, 21, made his NHL debut on Jan. 26 vs. Minnesota, logging one shot and four hits in 10:03 of ice time. The 6-foot, 195-pound forward has also dressed in 45 games with the Wolves this season, ranking third on the team with 37 points (19 goals, 18 assists).

A native of Moscow, Russia, Barbashev was originally drafted by the Blues in the second round (No. 33 overall) of the 2014 NHL Draft.
