Blues recall 7 players from San Antonio

ST. LOUIS - St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the Blues have recalled seven players from the club's American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage.

Forwards Klim Kostin, Jordan Nolan and Austin Poganski, as well as defensemen Chris Butler, Niko Mikkola, Mitch Reinke and Jake Walman have been recalled.

Kostin, a 19-year-old native of Penza, Russia, posted 24 points (10 goals, 14 assists) and 102 penalty minutes in 66 games with the Rampage this season. He was originally drafted by the Blues in the first round, 31st overall, of the 2017 NHL Draft.

Nolan, a 29-year-old native of Garden River, Ontario, collected 35 points (17 goals, 18 assists) and 72 penalty minutes in 59 games with the Rampage this season. He also posted two assists in 14 games with the Blues. Nolan was originally signed by the Blues as a free agent on July 5, 2018.

Poganski, a 23-year-old native of St. Cloud, Minnesota, tallied 31 points (nine goals, 22 assists) in 59 games with the Rampage this season. He also recorded three points (two goals, one assist) in three games with the Blues' ECHL affiliate, the Tulsa Oilers. Poganski was originally drafted by the Blues in the fourth round, 110th overall, of the 2014 NHL Draft.

Butler, a 32-year-old native of St. Louis, totaled 21 points (two goals, 19 assists) in 51 games with the Rampage this season. He also posted a goal and an assist in 13 games with the Blues. Butler was originally signed by the Blues as a free agent on July 16, 2014.

Mikkola, a 22-year-old native of Kiiminki, Finland, recorded nine points (two goals, seven assists) in 70 games with the Rampage this season. He was originally drafted by the Blues in the fifth round, 127th overall, of the 2015 NHL Draft.

Reinke, a 23-year-old native of Stillwater, Minnesota, tallied 45 points (12 goals, 33 assists) in 76 games with the Rampage this season. He was originally signed by the Blues as a free agent on March 26, 2018.

Walman, a 23-year-old native of Toronto, Ontario, notched 13 points (three goals, 10 assists) in 66 games with the Rampage this season. He was originally drafted by the Blues in the third round, 82nd overall, of the 2014 NHL Draft.
