Blues Re-Sign Ben Bishop

“Ben keeps pushing himself to take the next step and we expect him to compete to make our team this season,” said Armstrong.
Bishop, 24, played in 35 games for the Blues’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate Peoria Rivermen last season, compiling a record of 17-14-2 including a 2.55 goals against average, .914 save percentage as well as two shutouts.
The, 6’7”, 215-pound goaltender also appeared in seven games for the Blues posting a 3-4-0 record including a 2.76 goals against average and a .899 save percentage.
A native of St. Louis, Bishop was originally drafted by the Blues in the third round, 85th overall, in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
