Blues Raise Awareness for Breast Cancer Research

by Chris Pinkert / St. Louis Blues

ST. LOUIS - The Blues raised money and awareness for breast cancer on Thursday night against the New York Rangers during the team’s ninth annual Pink at the Rink night.

Before the game, FOX Sports Midwest’s John Kelly dropped the ceremonial first puck with his wife, Jennifer, who was diagnosed with breast cancer last February.

Blues fans raised money for breast cancer research through purchases of a special ticket package that included a Pink at the Rink T-shirt. In addition, fans will able to purchase pink mini sticks autographed by Hall of Famers Brett Hull, Al MacInnis and Bernie Federko to benefit Susan G. Komen, Siteman Cancer Center and the American Cancer Society.
